Ka Mar Par Village Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more ducks as well as good quality feed.

Ka Mar Par Village Group's story

This community is located in Ka Mar Par Village Myanmar's Ayeyearwaddy Delta region. The Community Based Organization (CBO) consists of five committee members overseeing 16 village customers. This new loan would help the Ka Mar Par Village group members buy food for ducks (1 packet = $13, one week's feed for 100 ducks) and purchase more ducks. More ducks would let them have extra income. Pictured above are committee members from Ka Mar Par Village CBO named Daw San, Daw Thawe, U Aung, Daw Than, and U Aung. Even though most villagers are farmers, they as well raise ducks, pigs, and cows for livestock. In addition, they plant seasonal vegetables to have extra income. For the education in the village, they have up to 5th grade and for upper studies, students have to go to town or other villages. Included in photo, Daw San (second from right), is a farmer. She is married and her husband as well is a farmer. She lives together with four children who are all students. She mostly does cropping and plants seasonal foods by renting someone else's farm. Like the other fellows who are taking this loan, she will purchase more ducks as well as good quality feed.
