El Arcoiris Group's story

El Arcoiris is the name these members choose for their group. They live in a cane-producing community, and the members are:

Victoria, groceries

Candelaria, mole pasta

Carmen, clothes

Guillermina, shoes through a catalog

Teresa, snacks

Victoria, known as Viky, is married to Juan and they have five children. She is a happy and responsible person. Eight years ago, she decided to open a small grocery shop to make good use of her time and to earn income without leaving home. So she put the merchandise out on a big table, and products that didn’t fit were left in boxes or put on chairs. After some time, and with her husband’s help, she used her profits to build a small shop in the front of her house. She also made some stands by hanging shelves on the walls so she could display her best merchandise. This time, Viky needs to buy more groceries to keep variety in her shop. She will buy rice, sugar, coffee, beans, cooking oil, tuna, ham, cheese, sausage, milk, cookies, toilet paper, and detergent because these are her best-selling products.

The members are grateful for the opportunity to receive this loan because it will allow them to grow.
