Yehowa A Dzo Wo 2 Group's story

These members are part of the group called Yehowa A Dzo Wo 2 (God bless all). They are on their seventh loan cycle with ID-Ghana. The businesses run by the members include selling jewelry, groceries, foods, African fabric, body creams, and second hand clothing. The loan that they receive will benefit micro businesses like Victoria's. This is Victoria's tenth year with ID-Ghana. She joined after a friend, who is a member of the institution, invited her. She currently has a business selling jewelry. She began this business through a cousin, who showed her how to acquire and sell this product. The loan that she has requested is to increase her working capital so that she can purchase more jewelry to sell to both men and women. She will purchase the product from the main market, and later sell to customers. This job allows her to generate income to support herself. She is single, and lives alone. When asked what she likes about ID-Ghana, she responded that she likes the other members of the group because they are kind, and very determined to improve their condition.
