Las Chipas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn, bags of frijoles beans, coal, and firewood, to increase sales.

Las Chipas Group's story

The solidarity group 'Las Chispas' is made up of three enterprising small-business people. They are lead by Maddaliz, 36, who is married and sells tortillas and frijoles beans in the streets where she lives. She is asking for a loan to buy corn, bags of frijoles beans, coal and firewood. With her previous loan she bought a kitchen which allowed her to increase the amount of products she offers and generate more income. The rest of the group are Monica, 33, who also makes tortillas and frijoles, a business she has been running from home for the past four years; and Xiomara, 43, who has been selling 'nactamales' from home for eleven years.
