Marina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy chickens and hens.
Marina is 62 years old. She studied up to 3rd grade in school and she found her partner when she was 17 years old. They had two children, but one of them passed away 11 years ago in an accident, and the other one does not live with her but has his own partner. At the moment, Marina lives alone with her sister. Marina works buying and selling chickens and hens. She learnt this activity from her mother, because she has worked with her mother in this activity since she was very small, and today she works in this business on her own. Every day, Marina goes to purchase chickens and hens and the nearby cantons to where she lives. She goes from house to house to purchase them Monday through Friday, and on the weekends she brings them to sell in the plaza where people come to purchase them. Marina has taken out a loan before in order to improve the cages where she keeps her poultry. Now she needs more money in order to buy much more. Thanks to the help through the loans, and thanks to her great efforts, she has managed to create a business which is very profitable for her family. Now she needs a loan to buy chickens and hens. It is Marina's dream to have a dignified home, where she can live in acceptable living conditions.
