Nua Ngam 8 Group's story

Chinh, 25, is from the Khmu ethnic group, is married and has a small son who is six. She lives with her husband and her child in a small house and works very hard at various agricultural activities to provide for the family. Indeed, cultivating rice, corn and cassava and raising pigs and chickens are the main production methods of generating income for her family.

This is the third time that Chinh has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em Program and she will use the loan to buy materials to build a pigsty. She said that thanks to the training and the counseling of Anh Chi Em's staff, she knew how important having a pigsty is to raise pigs and she is grateful for the financial support of the Program, which helps her have the capital to build it. She hopes that with the pigsty, the pigs will grow faster and become healthier, and then improve the earnings for her family.

Chinh dreams her family will have an abundant life and her child will study well, get a good job and have a bright future. In the picture, Chinh is the woman in the red shirt who has a pretty smile and is standing in the first row, first from the right.
