A loan helped to purchase clay, firewood and paint for her business.

Lorena Lizeth's story

Lorena, 24 years old, lives with her husband in a house located in the village of San Lorenzo in the south of Honduras. She has worked for five years in the business of making and selling clay items, such as decorations in the shape of turtles, armadillos, vases, roosters, trays, plates, etc. The majority of Lorena's customers are those who travel to El Salvador and in the other direction, those who travel to Tegucigalpa. She sells a variety of craft items and is an example of work and dedication. She is now a member of a craft cooperative where she also shows her artwork in other cities. Lorena asks for the loan to purchase clay, firewood, and paint, which are her raw materials for making her products. With the support of this loan, she plans to increase her income, and fill her financial need. Her dream is to graduate from the university and have a better workshop with various workers.
