but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy milk, sugar, oil, cookies, and rice.

Las Flores Group's story

These members belong to the Communal Bank “Las Flores” (The Flowers) which is located in the District of San Sebastián in Cusco Province, Department of Cusco.

Sra. Veronica is one of the members. She is 30 years old, single, and has one child. She works at her grocery business where she sells basic necessity products such as rice, sugar, milk, and oil. Veronica works from 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. She has been in this business for five years and is doing very well. Through this business, Veronica wants to get ahead. Her dream is to expand her grocery store. She is requesting a loan in order to buy milk, sugar, oil, cookies, and rice.

The member who appears in the attached photo had her picture taken at a later time because she requested permission to be absent for work reasons. The person whose face is covered with a circle is not a member of the Communal Bank “Las Flores”.

The other group members engage in businesses such as selling cakes, managing retail clothing booths, operating a grocery store, and managing a restaurant.

Veronica is grateful to those who have helped to fulfill her dream in this manner, so she promises to complete her payments according to the established terms.
