Zulaika's story

Zulaika is 43 years old and married. She and her husband are raising five children. She has a secondary education but finds it very difficult to find a job in the village, as she has to take care of her family and raise her children. For this reason, she has been involved in agriculture for many years already, and she currently owns five cows and five sheep. She also grows clover, sunflowers and wheat for resale on 10 hectares of land. She makes a monthly income of 15,000 som (KGS). In order to further develop her farming business, she has turned to Bai Tushum for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS). She will use this loan to buy livestock and prepare the land for sowing. She plans to use the earnings from her loan to further increase her herd of domestic animals.
