Idelfonzo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to increase the size of his granary.
Idelfonso is a producer who lives in the central northern part of the country. He is 52 and lives with his wife and their eight children, five of whom are students. He trades in coffee and grows organic cocoa. The family also has a little shop where they sell various items, a useful supplement to their income throughout the year. Idelfonso is a very experienced farmer and has worked in agriculture all his life: by turns, he grew corn, sold pigs and other livestock, but his true passion lies with the stockpiling and commerce of coffee and cocoa. His greatest wish is to pass on his experience to his children, since he is convinced that all his knowledge, together with what they learn at school, will help them become better. Most of his sons go to school in the morning and help their parents in the afternoon. They help with what they can so that the whole family can have bread on the table. This small entrepreneur's goal is to have a more diverse business by increasing the number of different types of beans he stockpiles. With this in mind, he asks for a loan in order to increase the size of his granary, so that the beans he stores stay in good condition for sale.
