Rainabe Ii Group's story

Rainabe II is a group of women who live in the same neighborhood with virtually the same business activities. They meet when needed and regularly organize tontines (savings group). Kadel, the lady raising her hand in the photo, is their president. She is a married mother who has no relative who is beneficiary of the institution. She is active at marketing food products. Kadel is requesting this loan to buy and sell tea, sugar, soap, and cooking oil. She helps her husband in managing the family's daily expenses and her children's school fees. She starts her day at 9 am to finish at 10 am because she has to do her household chores. In the future she would like to become financially independent and open other outlets. This way she can increase her revenues and save money on the side.
