Gulbara's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy 2 dairy cows with calves in order to increase her livestock headcount and grow her income.
Gulbara is 52 years old, a widow and a mother of 3 children. all of whom are grown and independent. Gulbara has a secondary education and has been involved in animal husbandry for 14 years. Having started with 10,000 som (KGS), today, thanks to her hard work, Gulbara has 4 cows and 18 sheep. Her monthly income amounts up to 15,000 som (KGS), but this money is not enough for a decent life and supporting a family. Because the animal husbandry business provides the sole source of income for Gulbara's family, she requested a loan in the amount of 150,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy 2 dairy cows with calves in order to further develop her business. Gulbara plans to invest the earnings from the loan into increasing her livestock headcount and saving money for her son's wedding.
