Anna's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for new supplies (flour, barley, forage) and renovate the truck which helps to deliver the products to the market.
Anna is involved in a retail business. She lives with her husband, her elderly retired father-in-law, and three children. Anna sells agricultural products that she purchases from nearby farmers. With the help of her husband, she understands the agricultural products needed in the local market. Her business is a very important source of income for their family. To continue running her retail business in a sustainable way, Anna needs a loan of 3,000 USD to purchase new supplies for her business (flour, barley, forage) and to pay for the renovation of the truck which helps to deliver the products to the market. She has already taken a loan from a local financial institution before, but unfortunately wasn't able to repay it. However, thanks to her hard work during recent times, Anna has been able to run her business in a sustainable way, ensuring that she will be able to cover the monthly payments for this loan. So, she has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The second-chance loan program provides loans to people who have a bad credit history and have no access to credit products. Anna and her family will be thankful to all the lenders for helping them to maintain their business.
