Maria Luisa's story
María Luisa is a business woman who for years has struggled to get her business ahead despite the low sales and the high prices of the products in the market. In her home, she has established a small grocery store where she offers cleaning products, basic grains, candies, etc. to the whole community. With the income that this small business produces, it is very difficult to reinvest it, since she has 3 children who go to school and the larger part of the grocery store earnings are used for school supplies or household needs. She asks for this loan to purchase products such as oil, sugar, basic grains, packaged drinks, etc. and to vary her sales. Her support in this business is her husband, who goes around the city streets offering taxi services. After expanding her grocery store with the loan, she plans to establish a restaurant in some key location in the city, and divide her time in both businesses and multiply her income. With this, María Luisa will manage to do the repairs needed by the house where she and her whole lovely family lives.
