Tabu's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase tree farm planting inputs such as seedlings, and pay for technical training and planting support.
Tabu's Group's story
Tabu is a forty-eight year old Komaza tree farmer. She has eight children, all of whom are in school. Tabu is married and her spouse is a farmer too. In addition to growing trees, she also cultivates subsistence crops and supports her family with agricultural endeavors. She decided to join Komaza to improve her life and for the trees to bring rainfall. She plans to spend the money earned from the Komaza tree farm to start a business and pay school fees for her children to pursue further studies. Tabu’s favorite part about working with Komaza is the maintaining the trees as they grow. Tabu is the farmer with her hand raised in the picture.
