Nazarbegim's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for her higher education.
Nazarbegim is a freshman in AUCA's Business Administration Department and this is her story: “I am requesting a Kiva loan so I can pay for my higher education costs at AUCA. Education plays a very important role in my life, but each year the cost of education is getting higher and higher; it’s becoming a problem for my family. I understand that my family is not able to pay my tuition fee; therefore, I am kindly asking Kiva lenders to help me. I am from Khorog, a village in Tajikistan, Central Asia. I live with my family and grandparents, so our family consists of eight people. People in Khorog make their livings in agriculture and by raising livestock. Despite the fact that my father is a manager and my mother is a nurse, our big family is still in need. My brother is a sophomore at another university, and another sibling goes to kindergarten, and now I am a freshman. My grandparents also try to help us as much as they can; they grow potato, onion, cabbage and tomato. We struggle each day for better life, for bright future, but the key for success is an education, that’s why I want to have a degree, develop myself and help my family.”
