Ahamed's story

Ahamed is a 42-year-old married man with six children, all attending different schools. He is a farmer who grows coffee. He works for seven days a week and ten hours a day. He started farming way back in 2010 and was motivated by the fact that the business was profitable.

He also owns a retail shop from which he gets an extra income to support his family.

He hopes to use the loan to buy manure and pesticides for his plantations. He usually sells his goods to the local community and neighboring trading centres. His hopes and dreams are to start up a retail business in town so that he expands his sources of income.

He is described as an honest and hardworking man in business. He appreciates the services offered by lenders.
