Ubucuti Group

Adidja is part of the group Ubucuti and lives in Bujumbura. She is 40 years old and married to Ismail, a mechanic. Together they have five children, from 7 to 21 years old, of whom all are students. Adidja has been doing commerce in clothing and working in food service for ten years. She is on her 2nd Turame loan. With the KIVA loan she is obtaining, she is going to increase her capital and purchase a large amount of clothing to resell, so as to earn more. In the coming years, she would like to see her children educated.
