A loan helped to buy a grocery shop from his uncle.

Mamady's story

30-year-old Mamady is a young tile-setter by profession who also works in retail. He is married and the father of 4 children, the eldest of whom is a 12-year-old girl and the youngest, just 6 months old. Mamady has owned a game room since 2007. He plans to use this loan to buy a grocery shop that his uncle has put up for sale. He works from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in his tile setting job so that he can also run his game room. Mamady lives with his mother and brothers with whom he shares the daily household expenses. His contribution could be around 30 000 francs per month. He would like to expand his business and also make savings so that he can one day build his own house.
