Shayirgul's story

Shayirgul is 48 years old, divorced and a mother of 2 children. Shayirgul has a secondary education and works at the village council, earning a monthly salary of 7,800 som (KGS). Also, she has been involved in agriculture since 2001 to provide additional income. She has 4 cows, 10 sheep and also grows rice on 1.0 hectare of leased land. Her monthly combined business profit amounts to 10,000 som (KGS). Shayirgul decided to insulate her house by installing plastic doors. This is why she requested a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy plastic windows because they do not let the cold in. Shayirgul will be able to insulate her house and provide safety for her children.
