Aziz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for his higher education.
Aziz is a freshman at the American University of Central Asia, Department of Business Administration. Here is his story: “AUCA education is a dream of many students as it’s the best university in the region. Together with Bard College in USA, the university develops joint research projects, and offers educational exchanges for faculty, staff and students from both institutions. And this is not the only advantage of AUCA. Once you enter, you live with AUCA spirit and become one big family. My family is a big middle-class family of 7 including my grandmother. The lion's portion of our income is spent on daily necessities, and the other part goes to cover tuition fees for my sister’s college and my brother’s kindergarten. As I became a university student from this year, it has become very difficult for my parents to pay my tuition given their level of income. My grandmother has a small pension, which is not even enough to cover her medical bills as she gets sick very often. In addition to all this, I am the eldest in my family, so my duty is to help my parents improve the family’s financial situation, which can only be achieved by getting a well-paid job after completing my education successfully. Therefore, a KIVA loan and its lenders' support are very important to me, I really appreciate your time and support.”
