Urasar village of Lori region, Lori Province, Armenia / Agriculture
Tsaghik's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to pay for a cow and feed her livestock.
Tsaghik is from Urasar village where she lives with her son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters (ages 3 and 1). Tsaghik is an experienced agronomist. To assist her son in earning a living, she engages in cattle breeding, aviculture, breeding pigs, and cultivation of wheat and potatoes. Her son sells these agricultural products at the local market. Tsaghik currently wants to expand her agribusiness. She needs a loan of 2,000 USD to purchase a cow and forage for food for the livestock. She and her family members rely on the good will of lenders and appreciate their support in collecting the amount for the loan to maintain and develop their agribusiness. Tsaghik has taken a loan from a local financial institution before, but unfortunately wasn't able to pay it back. However, thanks to her hard work recently, she was able to run her agribusiness in a sustainable way, ensuring that she will be able to cover monthly payments on a new loan. As a result, she has been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International. The second-chance loan program provides loans to people who have a bad credit history and have no access to other credit products.
