Ali's story

Ali is a 30-year-old married man, who opened a shop to sell clothing 2 years ago. He wanted to improve his career and develop his family's standard of living. Ali used to work as a baker with his father, but he discovered that being a baker didn't match his dreams. He decided to let go and start his own career path, which led him to establish his own clothes selling business. His business is doing well, but since he is the sole earner of his family, he has a lot of responsibilities. These prevent him from expanding and developing his business. He requests a YOUTH loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, to increase his merchandise with newly released Autumn & Winter collections. Ali enjoys his business and works hard to develop it in the future through opening a larger shop and diversifying his products to include men and children's items.
