Awurade Beye Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more tyres to sell to customers.

Awurade Beye Group's story

These three members, led by Amos as the representative, are part of the group called Awurade Beye ("God will provide"). The businesses that the members of this group are engaged in include selling car tyres, assorted materials and fishing nets. They will need a total amount of GHS 7,600 to expand their businesses. The loan will benefit this group of micro-business people, of which Amos is a member. Amos says that he joined ID Ghana eight years ago and became a founding member of this group. This is his 14th loan cycle with ID Ghana. He currently has a business selling car tyres. Amos will use his part of this loan, GHS 4200, to increase his capital. He will buy more tyres to sell to customers. He will sell them at the market to his customers. This work allows him to make an income for his family. Amos is 56 years old, married and has two dependent children. When asked what he likes about ID Ghana, Amos replied that he likes the health insurance services and the training sessions. He says his loans have made it possible to take care of his children and his needs, by saving part of his profits and reinvesting the other part in his business.
