A loan helped to buy cosmetics wholesale.
Pacajes Group's story
The communal bank "Pacajes" will begin its nineteenth loan cycle with ProMujer as part of the Juan Pablo II regional center. It consists of eight members and is led by a board of directors where Señora Rita is the secretary. The businesses that the members of the bank run are varied. Among them are selling food, selling baskets, selling cakes, auto body shop, selling auto covers, selling backpacks, selling furniture, and selling doors. The loan that they will take out will benefit these small business people, of whom Señora Rita is one. She indicates that she joined Pro Mujer a year ago, entering at the invitation of a friend who is a client of the institution. Now she has a business of selling cosmetics. She lets it be known that she undertook this business a number of years ago on observing the market and seeing that this product is widely marketed. The loan that she will take out now is to increase her capital and buy cosmetics wholesale, which she will acquire from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, and later she will sell them on order from the customer. This form of work allows her to earn resources to support her family economically, since she is single. When she is asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the training that the institution offers.
