Thanh Yen 1 Group's story
Mrs. Linh, 32, is a mom of two children, ages 12 and 13. She works in agricultural production while her husband works for the construction employer in a dangerous environment to have extra income. To have enough income to cover living expenses for the family as well as pay tuition fees for the kids, Mrs. Linh has diversified production into various activities, including growing rice, vegetables and coffee as well as breeding pigs and chickens. Therefore, she has taken out loans from the Anh Chi Em Program to have enough capital for the investment. This is the second time she has received the loan and she will use it to buy food for the pigs and chickens. Mrs. Linh has worked at cultivation and animal husbandry since she was very little, so she believes that, with her experience in agriculture together with the support from the program, including training and counseling, her investment will go well and generate high income for her family. Mrs. Linh dreams that her children will go to good colleges, have good jobs, and have an abundant life. In the picture, she wears the horizontal striped shirt and stands at the first from the right.
