Rosemary's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more broiler chicks and chick feed to increase production.

Rosemary's story

After receiving her first loan, Rosemary built a very big fowl run at her home that she is using for rearing chicks, and bought more feed and chicks. Using the profit she gets from selling broilers and manure, she managed to buy four goats, electric gadgets such as a solar inverter, battery, and upgrade for her bedroom suite. She also managed to pay school fees her children and pay medical bills for her son who was involved in an accident on his way from school. She managed to change her standard of living by purchasing clothing and food for the whole family. Rosemary really appreciates the loan that she got from Kiva because it has changed her life. She started another business of buying and selling clothes. She is no longer financially crippled like before. Rosemary now can afford to buy basic commodities for the whole family. She looks forward to receiving another loan so that she can increase her production capacity.
