Martha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for marketing and working capital.
Because of her knowledge and experience in international sales and marketing, Martha decided to start her company to sell products to South American countries. She says, “I knew from experience that many small businesses of Central and South American countries, with limited resources and linguistic barriers, are looking for someone to help them negotiate in the world markets.” Martha is originally from Colombia and has lived in the US for over a decade. Her two partners and one employee are all part of her family. Martha is most proud of becoming a vendor of the United Nation's Developed Program for Venezuela, but acknowledges that lack of financing can hold her company back from larger participation in programs with the United Nation. Martha’s first loan with Kiva helped buy materials to meet the contracts of these large programs. Now, Martha is looking to expand her business and needs a loan to help her export to other regions besides Central and South America. She will use her loan to advertise her business and for working capital. http://gv-distribution.com/
