Wilson Joel's story
Wilson is 42 years old and is married with two children. He lives with his family in the town of Mezapa, Atlántida. He works selling vegetables and legumes such as tomato, chilli, avocado, onion, chayote, coriander, potatoes and cabbage, as well as soft drinks, corn, beans, sugar, flour, rice, etc. He has had this business for 2 years, in a separate location from where he lives. He previously worked in housing construction, but he saw that he could earn more in his business. He is applying for a loan of 10,000 lempiras which he will invest in the purchase of all types of vegetables such as cabbage, tomato, banana, yucca, chayote, chilli, onion, and basic grains to stock up and sell. This will help him to have a better inventory and to expand his business. His goal is to grow his business and improve his family and personal circumstances.
