Kamissa's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase merchandise to resell such as onions, peanut butter, and black-eye peas.

Kamissa's Group's story

This group, created in December 2011, is composed of 12 members who all live in the same village. Their main work involves commerce. Fenda, who is standing at the right in the photo with an arm raised, is our featured borrower. She is a married mother of three children (a boy and 2 girls). She works in commerce as her main activity. With her loan, she intends to purchase a sack of onions at 10,000 francs, a sack of black-eye peas at 13,000 francs, and 2 pails of peanut butter at 20,000 francs. And she will spend 7,000 francs on transportation costs. With her profits, she plans helping out her husband in covering day-to-day expenses and the children’s schooling costs.
