Mimo Group's story
Houeida is the featured borrower of Mimo group. She got together with the other group members to acquire a loan from Kiva's field partner, Al Majmoua, because they have always been neighbors, relatives and friends, and they all seek the best for their families. Houeida is a 38-year-old married mother of three children. She has been working for five years from her house, selling beauty cosmetics and home products, to support her husband in covering their beloved family's needs and requests. Houeida is working hard to develop her business as much as she can through increasing her business capital to cover almost all of her customers requests. Unfortunately, she can't save some of her acquired income, in addition to her husband's, because they have limited monthly income to cover their living needs. She is acquiring a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, to increase her business merchandise with newly released items with special offers, especially for the coming autumn and winter seasons. She is very anxious about this loan and working hard to make sure she will invest it in a profitable way. Houeida is the lady standing at the center of the picture. As for the other group members, Denise is a 30-year-old married lady, standing at the far right side of the picture, who works as a hairdresser. She is investing her loan portion for her expected baby's needs and delivery expenses. Mirvat, Houeida's sister, standing at the far left side of the picture, is a 30-year-old single lady who will invest her loan portion in covering some of her wedding expenses.
