Paulina Elizabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy more chickens which will help her to increase sales and keep her customers. Also, this revenue will help with expenses related to her home.
Paulina Elizabeth's story
Paulina is a 24 year old woman who was born in the Pujilí Canton in the Cotopaxi province of the Republic of Ecuador. She is single and lives with her parents in a rural area. Her parents sacrificed to allow her to finish her studies, but it has been difficult for her to find a job, so she has had to raise and sell chickens for a living. Paulina is requesting a loan to buy more chickens as, at the moment, she depends on just a few. This loan will help her increase her income and maintain her sales as to not lose clients. She came to the Foundation as one of its clients recommended it to her. For Paulina, it is very important to help herself with this loan because it is related to the way she makes a living and it would allow her to help with household expenses and follow in her mother's example. Paulina thanks Fundación Alternativa in Ecuador and Kiva for making it possible for her to grow in both her personal and professional life.
