A loan helped buy fodder for the animals.

Margarita De Tusuyo Group's story

The group “MARGARITAS DE TUSUYO” (Daisies of Tusuyo) initiates its second cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Copacabana Focal Centre. The group comprises eight members and is directed by a board, which is headed by Florencia, who is the president. The members of this communal association run various businesses, including cheese sales, blanket sales, milk sales and artisanal poncho sales.

The loan they are requesting will benefit these small microempresarios where Florencia is a member. She tells us that she joined Pro Mujer one year ago, after being invited by an associate of the institution, who came to visit her at her home. Currently, she has a business producing and selling cheese; she learned this business from her parents as it was the family business. After some time, she decided to start her own independent business.

The loan she is requesting is to increase her business capital to buy fodder for the animals, after she raises the animals she will produce the cheese to sell. This type of work permits her to generate resources to take care of her family, as she is married and has three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she replies that she likes the loans offered by the institution.
