Nasuuti Women's Group's story
N. Fatumah is 35 years of age and the chairperson of Nasuuti women’s group, a new group in Mukono. She is married with 4 children. One of her children has just finished her Senior 4 leaving examinations; one is in Senior 3, another is in her Primary 7 vacation, and the last-born is in Primary 4. Fatumah cares for her mother and two brothers-in-law. She has a restaurant business called Bismillah Restaurant which she has been running for 2 years, and she is happy that her good services and customer care has enabled her to keep a good clientele. In her business, she is helped by her family members while her husband does other businesses. She prepares breakfast, lunch and supper with very nice meals bringing out the aroma all over the place. This is her first loan with Pearl Microfinance and she has planned to buy and stock food stuffs for her restaurant.
