Cristo Nos Ama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest it in her grocery store and buy food like: rice, beans, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, oil, and beans.

Cristo Nos Ama Group's story

The communal bank "Cristo Nos Ama" (Christ Loves Us) is made up of 13 members: 12 women and 1 man. They are responsible mothers and fathers with 30 children under their care. They are originally from Malpaisillo, a town located in the northern zone of the region. They are hard-working, responsible, and have a great desire for personal success. They all perform various economic activities which are their means to provide for their children and to give them a dignified life. Thanks to her desire to get ahead, Dominga is the coordinator of the group. She works running a small grocery store where she sells food like: rice, beans, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, oil, and beans. She works in her store for 12 hours each day offering her products. The objective for her loan is to invest in working capital and to supply her business for buying and selling food products, so that in the not too distant future she will be able to obtain a better income. The communal bank Cristo Nos Ama thanks the Kiva lenders for the assistance they offer to people with limited resources and to poor countries like Nicaragua, so that people can find a way to work with dignity.
