Rosalba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy ceramic floor to replace the dirt floor in her house.

Rosalba's story

Rosalba lives in San Martin, Puebla with her three children and her husband. Rosalba every days wakes up very early to milk her cows and take whatever she gets from the convenience store nearby. She also works ironing clothes for the people in town that do not have time or skills to do so. Rosalba says that hard workers run in her family. Rosalba and her husband are very happy with the house they have today since it is the result of years of effort and work. Today their home has cement floor in the bathroom and bedrooms but a dirt floor in the kitchen. Rosalba has an informal job and makes around $1,200 USD a month. This makes it nearly impossible for her to have a credit from another institution. Rosalba is asking for this credit to buy the ceramic floor for her house and other materials needed to install it. Rosalba and her husband will do all the work and receive supervision visits from certified technicians to make sure that the work they do meets all the quality and safety standards. Rosalba is looking forward to have a floor she can sweep and clean!
