Gulmairam's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped buy 20 sheep for fattening and resale to increase her income.
Gulmairam is 55, widowed, and the mother of four children. She currently lives with her daughter and collects a pension for part of her income; her main source of income comes from raising livestock and growing crops. She first started in 1998, and currently has two dairy cows, ten sheep, and two bull calves on her farm, as well as 3.0 hectares of land for growing beans and potatoes as cash crops. She sells milk from her farm daily, and is eager to grow her business and find additional ways to earn money for the sake of her children and grandchildren. At the moment, her monthly income is 3,000 som, which is catastrophically low if you're seeking to expand your business; with that in mind, Gulmairam is seeking a loan of 120,000 som from Bai Tushum to buy 20 sheep. These extra sheep will help bolster her income and allow her to invest more money into her business and grow it further.
