Regina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy spare parts like oil.

Regina's story

Regina is 28 years old and lives in the town of Mbale in the Mbale region of Uganda. She is married and has 3 children with 2 of them currently in school. For the past 3 years, Regina has been working hard to manage her spare parts business, where she sells spare parts. To help expand her business, Regina has requested a loan of 2,500,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy spare parts like oil, and will help Regina to generate greater profits and expand her business. Regina hopes that in the future she will be able to have a big business. Regina is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Regina who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
