Rehema's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy bales of clothes.
Rehema is 46 years old and lives in the town of Nakaloke in the Mbale region of Uganda. She is married and has one child who is currently in school. For the past 4 years, Rehema has been working hard to manage her clothing business, which sells clothes. To help expand her business, Rehema has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy bails of clothes, and will help Rehema to generate greater profits and expand on stock. Rehema hopes that in the future she will be able to add the business. Rehema is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Rehema who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
