Leah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to purchase a dairy cow.
Leah is a jovial smallholder farmer based in Kurgung village found in the North Rift region of Kenya. At 29, she is happy with 5 children who look up to her. To provide a decent living for them, she keeps dairy cattle and poultry that produce milk and eggs for both consumption and sale. She also grows maize and vegetables. Leah has always had a proclivity for dairy farming. She has enjoyed doing it for a decade. She is seeking a loan to expand her dairy farm. With your money, she is going to purchase a dairy cow. The cow will give her a additional milk for sale to boost her income. She is going to name the cow 'Miso'. She will use the money generated from the milk sales to repay the loan in full. Profits from the investment will enable her to meet high input costs. When asked how the loan will be of benefit to her family, Leah replied, "It will increase my family's income and financial stability."
