Grupo Sector La Ceiba Group's story

Domingo is 33 years old, and he has great aspirations to get to know his community and everyone who visits the business that he runs with such effort and dedication. He is married and lives with his wife, and he wants to excel and achieve the great dreams that he has for his life. He has 2 children, one of whom lives with a separate family. The younger child is an excellent student in the local school. (Domingo is found at the far right of the photograph). The business that Domingo runs with such care involves the purchase and sale of traditional Guatemalan skirts. He does this work from his home and in places near the community where he lives. He's been doing this type of work for 3 years. In addition, he also sells snacks, a business that he's been carrying out with his wife for more than 5 years, because this generates extra earnings for the welfare of his family, and this enables him to improve the financial condition of his family and community. Domingo has been a role model in his community, and this is why a group of women got together with Domingo to form a communal bank in order to launch businesses so that each one of them can succeed and have more income. Domingo will use this loan to buy traditional clothing to sell in the areas surrounding his community. One of his aspirations is to have a shop in the market in his town. He also wants to see his children become professionals.
