Bani's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to pay for forage for feeding the livestock.
Bani lives in Sipan village of Lori region, with her husband, two sons, daughter-in-law and little grandchildren. Bani and her family have been involved in agriculture for more that 15 years. Bani's elder son is an army officer and her third son lives in Russia with his family. The family's farm includes livestock of 31 sheep, 16 cows, 16 calves and some hens. Bani uses the milk in cheese production and her son and husband realize it in the local markets. The requested loan of USD 2,000 is very important for Bani to invest in her farm. She plans to purchase forage for feeding the livestock during the winter. As this is Bani's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products in the past, because they have no credit history. Please help this hard working woman and her family to invest in her farming business and sustain it.
