A loan helped to buy fertilizers.

Hay's story

From Prey Chhor District, Kampong Cham Province, Hay, 49, is an experienced and active farmer. At home, she is a lovely mother of two dependent children and one married child. She is the owner of a small rice field. By operating her farming business, she can earn around USD 2.50 a day to support her family's daily expenses. So far, she has been involved in this career for fourteen years. To keep her rice growing well and more fruitfully, Hay is going to use natural fertilizers on her farmland. Because there is a shortage of money, she would like to get a KIVA loan via HKL to buy fertilizers to use in her farming process this season. With the support from this loan, she hopes that the fertilizers will make her rice grow better and produce more crops for her. She also thanks all the lenders for their generous behaviors.
