Lucio

Lucio is a new cacao farmer from the beautiful village of San Jose. He is excited to be joining the Maya Mountain Cacao Farmers’ Network and enrolling in a KIVA loan. He is a father of three children, who are all of school age. He is taking the initiative to cultivate a piece of land and transforming it into a beautiful and successful cacao farm. This Kiva loan will assist him in purchasing and planting cacao seedlings. Lucio envisions a future with his business plan of planting his three acres of cacao, and this will allow him to educate his youngest daughter and make plans to retire form the farm.
