A loan helped to pay for forage for feeding livestock.

Lusine's story

Lusine is an experienced farmer from the village of Goghovit, in the Shirak region. She lives with her husband and 4 children (two sons and two daughters). Lusine's husband works in the private sector. His salary, however, is not enough to cover the basic needs of the family. To be able to meet the family's needs, Lusine is engaged in breeding goats, calves and cultivating wheat and grass. Farming is an important source of income for the family. Lusine's children help her greatly in her everyday farming activities. Her husband is also very helpful; he sells the agricultural products in the local market. As the family’s needs are increasing day by day, Lusine wants to get more forage for feeding her livestock and be able to meet the needs of her family more effectively. A loan of 2000 USD will help her greatly, enabling her to purchase forage. Her family will be very grateful to all the lenders for their support in collecting the needed amount of money for the loan and helping the family sustain their agribusiness.
