A loan helped to buy calves for fattening up and subsequent resale in order to grow her business.

Zyyagul's story

Zyyagul is 31 years old, married and raising 2 children. Zyyagul has a secondary education and is a very calm and sociable person. In search of an additional source of income, she got involved in raising livestock and farming in 1996, having started her business with purchase of 15 sheep. Zyyagul put forth a lot of effort to develop her business, and today her business consists of 1 cow, 5 sheep, 2 goats and 1 calf. She also has 1.80 hectares of land, where she annually grows potatoes, corn and clover. In order to further develop her business, Zyyagul requested a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum" Bank to buy calves for fattening up and subsequent resale. Zyyagul is one of the three members of the "Aydin" group. In the future, Zyyagul plans to continue growing her business.
