Asya's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase three steers for fattening and resale.
Asya is 58 and a widow with four children. She has a specialist high school education and has been working in animal husbandry and agriculture since 1999. All her children except the youngest son live on their own, but they help their mother actively. Asya currently has two cows, 10 sheep and two horses as well as a 1.45 hectare piece of land on which she grows wheat and barley, and another 0.3 hectares where she has a pear orchard. Revenue from her business doesn't come close to covering her living costs, so Asya's children help her financially, but she wants her business to help her live independently from her children and, in turn, help them. Therefore, with the goal of further developing her business, Asya has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 70,000 KGS to buy three steers. The profits will help Asya improve her quality of life and save toward her youngest son's wedding.
