Corcino's story

Corcino is 44 years old. He lives with his partner and has six sons aged 21, 17, 13, 10, 6 and 4, and a daughter, who is 15. Corcino works in agriculture. Corcino is a patient, responsible, understanding, strong, hardworking and independent person. He works in “Villa Tunari”, which is located between the Andes and the Amazon region. This area has amazing landscapes, lush vegetation and plenty of water: rivers, creeks, waterfalls and ponds. Corcino is of medium height, thin, dark-skinned, and has short black hair. His native tongue is Quechua, but he speaks a little Spanish. He works in agriculture, growing seasonal fruits and vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, chili and beans. He has been working together with his partner for more than twenty years. His children study at the local school and also contribute with their work. He dreams of being able to give his family a stable and safe home. He wants to connect his house to the water distribution system. This is why he is requesting a loan to perform the necessary works and improve his family’s living conditions.
