Rosa Delmy's story
Rosa, 45 years old, studied through the 2nd grade since her parents did not have sufficient financial resources to be able to offer this great opportunity to Rosa and her siblings. She is now married. Her husband is a mason and they have 4 children who live with them. Since Rosa could not study her parents instilled responsibility and many values in her and her siblings, which have brought her to now be a good person. For this reason she helped her parents since she was 12 years old to plant corn and beans which is how she learned this business. The necessity to earn income for her family also lead her to work as a housekeeper and she has now been working in this business for approximately 10 years. All of this with the objective to get her children ahead and to help her husband with the household costs. The loan will be used to buy sand, rock, iron, cement and brick to make some improvements to her home. Rosa dreams of seeing her home improvements completed. She also hopes to see her children find good jobs and be able to excel.
