Afiwa's story

Born on April 13, 1956, Ms. Afiwa K. is a mother who has a family of five children and a husband who is a health care assistant. Working in her home located in Agoè, a district of Lomé, she sells corn and raises poultry as her line of work. She started this business in 2002. It enables her to help her husband to cover family expenses. She has already benefited from a WAGES loan, which she repaid. With this second loan, she will be able to buy 15 sacks of corn and 10 sacks of soybeans to sell and to feed her fowl.
